Product Foundry demo

See the build as clearly as the finished product.

This fictional project shows the customer transparency layer Widerloom is designing: scope, timeline, decisions, proof, cost, risks, and handoff readiness in one place.

01

Understand

Users, systems, constraints mapped.

02

Estimate

Assumptions and effort shape visible.

03

Test drive

Representative workflow under review.

04

Build

Production candidate not yet authorized.

05

Handoff

Transfer plan designed before delivery.

Open decisions

  • Which source systems are authoritative?
  • Who may approve high-risk answers?
  • What must remain human-only?

Proof queue

  • Permission boundary test
  • Representative answer evaluation
  • Provider-loss behavior

Customer control

  • Acceptance criteria
  • Data purpose
  • Deployment ownership

After launch

Operate it through ordinary language.

A customer should not need to become an expert in Widerloom's internal tooling to keep a product current. Authorized requests can enter through familiar channels and be translated into controlled product or content changes.

Example request

Email or text

“Change the onboarding copy, add the new eligibility rule, and update the FAQ before Friday.”

System response

Structured change set

Identify affected surfaces, source records, tests, dependencies, risks, review requirements, and a preview of exactly what would change.

Release

Governed execution

Approved changes move through validation, staging, publishing, verification, and rollback controls instead of bypassing them.

This is the direction of the Widerloom operating model: low-friction human control on top of high-discipline infrastructure.

What sits underneath the project

A product factory, not a pile of one-off projects.

The customer-facing build can inherit a common delivery and operations layer, so more of the engagement can focus on the customer's problem rather than repeatedly rebuilding the plumbing.

01

Product layer

The experience, workflow, data model, rules, integrations, and decisions specific to this customer and this problem.

02

Platform layer

Reusable identity, tenancy, deployment, security, observability, recovery, AI orchestration, integration patterns, and evidence.

03

Operations layer

CI/CD, staging, rollback, incident signals, cost controls, proof refresh, support, and release governance.

04

Independence layer

Exports, documentation, portable interfaces, credential transfer, deployment transfer, and a designed path to another operator.

ExistsWorksReliableGovernedProven

The reusable layer can accelerate future builds, but inheritance does not automatically make a new product proven. Product-specific risks and evidence still have to be tested.
